Dr. Salazar, O.D. is an optometrist in Orlando providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.

 

Dr. Salazar is committed to providing her patients with exceptional care and attention. Dr. Salazar was the supervising optometrist at the Target Optical department and before that she worked at the Magruder Eye Institute.  She moved her practice to Vision Works in 2012 and opened her own pracitce in 2019. Her dedicated staff works together as a team to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care.

BACKGROUND

Dr. Josette Salazar received her BA at Davidson College in North Carolina in 1994. She later received a post-baccalaureate at the University of Miami in medical science. She then went on to optometry school in Ft Lauderdale at Nova Southeastern University. She moved to Orlando in 2002 and has worked for Magruder Eye Institute, Target Optical and practiced at Visionworks in the Millenia area before opening her own practice in 2019. She loves having fun at work and tries really hard to be an adequate soccer mom to her 3 charming children. Joey, Jill and Winston are not sure she is succeeding at her soccer mom role, but she can really give a good eye exam.
