Specialty Vision Solutions at Delaney Eye Center

At Delaney Eye Center, we offer advanced and highly personalized treatments for a wide range of complex vision needs. If you've been told "nothing more can be done," we're here to show you otherwise.

Here's a look at some of our specialized services:

Myopia Control

Myopia control focuses on slowing the progression of nearsightedness (myopia), especially in children and teens. Left unmanaged, high myopia can increase the risk of serious eye conditions later in life.

Ortho-K involves custom-designed rigid lenses that are worn overnight to gently reshape the cornea. In the morning, you can remove the lenses and enjoy clear vision all day—without glasses or daytime contacts. It’s a safe, non-surgical way to control myopia and reduce dependence on corrective lenses.

Custom Prosthetic Colored Contacts (for Iris & Pupil Damage)

If you’ve experienced trauma, surgery, or congenital conditions that affected the appearance or function of your iris or pupil, custom prosthetic contact lenses can help restore a more natural look—while also improving comfort and light sensitivity. These lenses are tinted and painted to match your other eye and can be life-changing both cosmetically and functionally.

Prism Lenses (for Eye Strain & Double Vision)

If your eyes don’t work together properly, you may experience double vision or visual fatigue. Prism lenses help align your visual system by gently shifting the image to the correct position, allowing both eyes to work as a team. They're often used for conditions like eye muscle imbalances, neurological issues, or post-surgical complications.  Schedule a consultation with Dr. Becky Crockett!  She is our prism expert at Delaney Eye Center!

Aniseikonia Lenses (for Image Size Imbalance)

Aniseikonia occurs when each eye perceives images at a different size or shape, leading to headaches, dizziness, and difficulty with depth perception. This often follows trauma, retinal surgery, or lens implants. We offer custom lenses designed to balance the perceived image size between the eyes, improving comfort and vision clarity.

Aphakic Contact Lenses (for Eyes Without Natural Lenses)

When the eye’s natural lens is removed—usually due to cataracts or trauma—and no artificial lens is implanted, the condition is called aphakia. Standard lenses often can’t provide the vision correction needed. Our aphakic contact lenses are specially designed to restore clear vision for patients who no longer have their natural lenses.

Let us help you see more clearly, comfortably, and confidently—no matter how complex your visual needs may be.
